Dune Foods is the factory behind the bag. Wild-harvested Karoo seedpods come into our Somerset West plant as roasted brew powder or baked food powder. We pack to your artwork. You keep the customer, the label and the margin.

Roasted or baked

Roasted powder is slow-roasted and ground. It brews like coffee — espresso machine, moka, filter or French press. Use it for a drink brand, a café line or a retail brew pack. Naturally caffeine-free, low acidity, caramel and nut.

Baked powder is baked and milled as a flour. Naturally sweet and low-GI. Use it in bakery, smoothies, bars, shakes and food manufacture. This is the powder most private-label food brands start with.

Do not treat them as the same ingredient. They are the same pod and two different processes.

How a first order works

1. Send the market, roasted or baked, retail pack or bulk, and a rough annual volume.  
2. We send a sample from the plant.  
3. You approve pack size, certification and artwork.  
4. We pack under your brand and ship against a purchase order.

Pricing depends on process, pack, destination and whether you need organic. That is why it is quoted, not listed.

The plant

Processing is in Somerset West, Western Cape. The facility is FSSC 22000 v6. Organic programmes are available on finished goods. Harvest is wild — the trees are not run on a fertiliser or pesticide programme.

MannaBrew is our own retail brew brand. Private label is separate: your name on the pack, our process behind it.
